American tennis star Coco Gauff made history in 2023 by winning her first grand slam title at the U.S. Open in New York. The reflection in the trophy chronicles her emotional victory and the gratitude she expressed toward legend Billie Jean King during the awards ceremony. Thanks to Billie's relentless advocacy, in 1973 the U.S. Open became the first major sporting event ever to offer equal prize money to men and women competitors.
