Turning luxury fashion into fine art

Painting directly on silk scarves

I source vintage and new luxury silk scarves with equestrian motifs, then paint directly on the silk. Each scarf painting includes:

  • 35" x 35" original 1-of-1 acrylic painting on 100% silk.
  • Stretched and mounted luxury silk scarf with custom 2" deep float frame.
  • Ready to hang out of the box.
  • Hand-signed Certificate of Authenticity, documenting the work.
  • Insured shipping, packed securely and shipped from the studio.

Your Horse, Your Scarf

How the commission process works

01

Choose the subject & scarf

  • We choose the horse, rider, or scene and the color scheme
  • I source an appropriate scarf or work with one from your collection (case‑by‑case)
02

Stretch & mount

  • The scarf is stretched and mounted to a custom-made wood panel, measuring the exact dimensions of the handmade scarf
03

Paint directly on the silk

  • I design the composition around the existing pattern, and use semi-transparent layers of acrylic paint to allow the pattern to show through
04

Framing & delivery

  • The piece is finished with a custom floater frame and arrives ready to hang
  • Shipping is fully insured and quoted separately based on destination.

Size & Investment

Most luxury silk scarves measure 90x90 cm. (35x35 in.) Custom-framed paintings at that size range from $7,500-$10,000, depending on the scarf cost and composition.

Scarves that are larger or smaller than 90x90 cm. are quoted on a case-by-case basis.

Shipping is quoted separately based on destination. Most U.S. deliveries are between $300-$600.
