Story & Inspiration

This portrait celebrates pop artist Ashley Longshore, whom I discovered in 2018 and cite as a true inspiration to be authentic, push boundaries, and enjoy the ride.

Longshore is one of a kind, with a huge personality and a style to match. I paint her with oversized glasses, dripping in jewelry, multiple watches, and a massive gold rope chain. The chaotic, bold background reflects her energy, ambition, and creativity, with cool blues and greens playing off her bright pink top for maximum contrast.
