Tuscan Afternoon captures the quiet majesty of the rolling countryside just beyond Florence, where time slows and light spills across the land like a warm invitation. Set against the soft backdrop of distant mountains, the scene showcases bold brushstrokes and vertical drips that echo the iconic cypress trees lining Tuscany’s winding roads.

Painted as part of my Tuscany, Italy series, the piece transports viewers to the hills outside Florence, home to the iconic Chianti region, where villas and vineyards stretch for miles under the golden afternoon sun. Raw, unbleached 12 oz. cotton canvas. Stretched by hand and primed with two coats of premium, artist-grade gesso.

Wood Stretcher Bars

Made from solid, knot-free pine sourced and milled in the U.S. Heavy-duty bars resist warping and maintain canvas tension.

UV Varnish

4 coats of UV-blocking acrylic varnish form a permanent, non-removable film that resists yellowing and fogging.

How to Purchase

You may reserve the painting, which will direct you to a page to enter your email and shipping address so we can create a shipping quote.
We will email you an invoice for the painting and shipping, which you may pay by credit card, bank transfer or wire.

Shipping & Handling

• Once your payment is received, the painting will ship insured within 2-3 business days.

Transit times (continental US)
• UPS Ground: usually 3–7 business days in transit.

Damage in transit
• If your painting arrives damaged, email info@kylelucks.com immediately with photos of the damage and packaging.
• We will file a claim with the carrier and repair or replace as needed.
