Kyle Lucks is a nationally recognized portrait artist known for his bold, high-impact paintings of professional athletes, musicians, historical figures, and cultural icons. His work captures the emotion, grit, and energy that define greatness, transforming unforgettable moments into powerful visual stories. Whether it’s a game-winning touchdown, a championship celebration, or a pop culture icon immortalized in color and texture, Kyle’s portraits invite you to relive the story behind the moment.

With expressive brushwork, abstract backgrounds, and his signature spot varnish technique - a layer of typography or symbolism only visible at certain angles - Kyle’s pieces are multidimensional experiences that move beyond realism and into legacy.

Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, Kyle’s first brush with national attention came at age 12, when a hockey drawing of his was featured in Sports Illustrated for Kids. After earning a degree in marketing and working in the event industry, he eventually committed to painting full time, bringing together his creative roots, passion for sports, and ability to tell a story with his paint brush into one powerful career as a professional artist.

Today, Kyle lives and works in West Palm Beach, Florida, maintaining a daily studio practice and collaborating with athletes, collectors, institutions, and nonprofits across the country. Whether it’s a custom commission for a hall-of-famer or a print purchased by a lifelong fan, every piece Kyle creates is a tribute to excellence, storytelling, and the power of showing up.
