A Swan in Palm Beach was commissioned by the Palm Beach Chamber of Commerce for the cover of the 2024 Palm Beach Guide. The guide is distributed to every home and business in Palm Beach, as well as every room in the iconic Breakers Hotel. 

This portrait combines the facial features and accessories of Truman Capote’s elegant “swans,” prominent socialites in the 1960s and 70s. The influential jetsetters graced the world’s most glamorous cities with their presence, including “America’s First Resort Destination,” Palm Beach, Florida.

Kyle’s “Swan” is depicted with an enigmatic smirk as she admires illustrious Worth Avenue and its landmark clock tower. Hiding in plain sight on her hat band is a pattern of swans, and the background is inspired by Lilly Pulitzer, who established her brand in Via Mizner.
