POTUS Malone is a bold and satirical mashup of political power and pop culture. In this imagined album cover, President Donald Trump moonlights as a rapper, complete with face tattoos, a “Parental Advisory” label, and a new alias: POTUS Malone. Inspired by Post Malone’s cultural dominance and Trump’s unfiltered commentary, I paint a fictional pivot into the music world.
Painted in the spring of 2019, when Post Malone dominated the charts and President Trump was front and center in every headline, this square canvas channels the look and feel of a classic hip-hop album cover, complete with a spot-gloss varnish reading “POTUS MALONE” across the surface in sleek album-style type. Blending politics, pop culture, and satire, the piece captures the surreal nature of modern fame. It’s more than a visual joke, it’s a cultural timestamp.
