Jackie at The Breakers
The third installment in my "Jackie" series, in which Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis travels the world through her famous sunglasses. This portrait shows Jackie the front of The Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach, Florida. Built by Henry Morrison Flagler, this luxurious resort is more than just a hotel, it is an institution. Its iconic palm tree-lined front drive creates a lush green backdrop behind Jackie and her double strand pearl necklace.
The original 48"x32" acrylic portrait on canvas features high gloss sunglass lenses over a satin varnish.
Note: Gallery-wrapped canvas is only available in 16x24, 20x30, and 24x36. The spot varnish is only on the original painting and not the prints.
Original painting sold to a private collector.
