Since its debut in 1947 as “The Golf View,” The Colony Hotel has been a magnet for American royalty, entertainers, and political figures, just blocks from the Kennedy family’s “Winter White House.” This portrait captures Jackie’s poised presence against the backdrop of The Colony’s mid-century charm: one lens of her sunglasses reflects the hotel’s retro poolscape, the other shows the blush-pink exterior as it stands today.
