Marino in ’84: A Tribute to Miami’s Golden Arm

Marino in ’84 captures the grit, confidence, and intense focus of Dan Marino during his iconic 1984 season with the Miami Dolphins. That year, the second-year quarterback threw for over 5,000 yards and 48 touchdowns, setting NFL records and leading the Dolphins to Super Bowl XIX.

This portrait is part of my Miami Legends triptych, which also features Lionel Messi and Dwyane Wade. The background uses bold Miami colors, pink, teal, and orange, that visually connect all three works, honoring the spirit of South Florida and the athletes who helped define it.
