Story & Inspiration

Palm Beach Polo is a one-of-a-kind artwork of mine, painted directly onto a vintage Hermès silk scarf titled Le Monde du Polo (The World of Polo). Released in the late 1980s, this rare design showcases global polo scenes, with “Palm Beach” centered, a nod to the prestigious Hermès Cup once held at the Palm Beach Polo Club. Featuring deep blues, teals, browns, and crisp whites, the piece blends Hermès history, equestrian prestige, and fine art craftsmanship.

I drew inspiration from a powerful moment at the 2024 U.S. Open Polo Championship finals in Wellington, Florida, featuring legendary player Adolfo Cambiaso competing against his son, Poroto. Wellington is considered the winter capital of the equestrian world, making it the perfect setting for this tribute. I preserved the scarf’s integrity by mounting it on a custom wood support, reflecting the same craftsmanship Hermès brings to its handmade saddles and luxury goods.

Original painting SOLD to a private collector.
