Story & Inspiration

Few stars represent St. Louis better than NBA champion and Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum. This portrait is built entirely around his hometown pride: Blues Stanley Cup “Champs” shoes, a Cardinals flag, his Chaminade leg tattoo, and the Gateway Arch.

The final touch is a clear spot varnish quoting St. Louis’s own Nelly: “I’m from the Lou and I’m proud.” Every symbol in the composition ties back to Tatum’s roots, a tribute less to his NBA career alone than to the city that shaped him and that he’s never stopped repping.
