Story & Inspiration

Every September, thousands of the world’s greatest bourbon enthusiasts gather in Bardstown for the Kentucky Bourbon Festival. This painting captures the iconic Oscar Getz Museum of Bourbon History as attendees sample bourbon and make memories with old and new friends.

The piece was finished live on-site at the RD1 Spirits tent, capturing the atmosphere of one of Kentucky’s most beloved annual gatherings and the shared energy of collectors, distillers, and bourbon lovers who come together for the festival each year.
