The Sun Devil Golf Gallery

In 2018, the Arizona State University men's and women's golf teams left their longtime home of Karsten Golf Course and moved to the Thunderbirds Golf Complex, a brand new state-of-the-art training facility, at Papago Golf Course. The complex features the Phil and Amy Mickelson Player Development Facility.

Instead of filling the long hallway with photographs or vinyl graphics, the coaches decided on a collection of original paintings, and that's when I got the call. It took over a year from the first wall measurements to hanging the completed works. Here is an inside look at the creation of the gallery:

As a graduate of Arizona State, I am incredibly honored to have been commissioned by such a prestigious program with so many world-class golfers and coaches. The gallery will grow as additional players become current stars, and the Sun Devil legacy is proof there will be many more of those to come!
