Coco Gauff – U.S. Open Champion Fine Art Print by Kyle Lucks
The viral portrait that caught Coco Gauff’s eye, now available as a fine art print for tennis fans, collectors, and champions at heart.
Celebrate one of the most iconic moments in modern tennis history with this bold, high-energy portrait of Coco Gauff by contemporary artist Kyle Lucks. This painting captures the emotion, power, and cultural impact of Gauff’s 2023 U.S. Open victory, when she became the youngest American woman since Serena Williams to win the title—and did so on her own terms.
Rendered in Kyle’s signature layered style, the painting features Coco Gauff lifting the U.S. Open trophy, her reflection symbolizing the moment she made history. Look closer, and you’ll find a powerful tribute woven into the image: tennis legend Billie Jean King reflected in the trophy’s surface, representing the hard-fought legacy of equality in women’s sports.
In 1973, King’s advocacy led to the U.S. Open becoming the first major sporting event to offer equal prize money to men and women - setting the stage for Coco’s moment 50 years later.
This piece was originally painted for the Palm Beach County Historical Society's 'Wish You Were Here' Grand Exhibition, where artist Kyle Lucks was the Artist in Residence.
The painting went viral on social media and caught the attention of Coco herself, who personally purchased the original painting for her private collection. Now, prints are available for collectors, fans, and anyone who sees themselves in her story of talent, perseverance, and purpose.
